Katalin is a Partner and head of HR Team of the Budapest Office of Eversheds Sutherland.
Katalin is a legal advisor with more than 20 years of experience. In addition to employment law, her areas of expertise include data protection and commercial law.
Partner of the firm since May 2002.
Katalin advises clients in Hungarian, English and German, focusing primarily on employment, labour, commercial, compliance, regulatory and data protection matters.
Katalin graduated summa cum laude from the Faculty of Law at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. In 2001, she obtained a postgraduate degree in economics from the Budapest University of Economics. In 2025, she earned her LL.M. in ESG and Sustainable Business Law from the University of Pécs.
Katalin has extensive experience in restructurings, TUPE exercises, complex termination matters and collective redundancy procedures. She regularly conducts negotiations with trade unions and consultations with works councils.
She also advises on compliance matters and internal investigations, with a particular focus on data protection issues, including data breach notifications. She represents clients in litigation before labour courts.
She has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
An experienced lecturer, she regularly delivers training courses and workshops for clients.
