Eversheds Sutherland lands lateral partner-led Paris Funds team, as its wider European private capital push continues01. júla 2026 Eversheds Sutherland has appointed a new funds team in Paris, led by Partner Tiana Rambatomanga, who will establish and lead the global law firm’s fund structuring practice in the local market. Tiana joins with a team of two: Brandy Keunan, Associate and Ghita Berrada, Legal Officer. Having worked at leading international law firms and most recently a Partner at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, Tiana has nearly 20 years’ experience in structuring, fundraising and organisation of investment funds across the full spectrum of private assets, including private equity, private debt and infrastructure. Tiana has a strong track record in establishing French, Luxembourg and pan-European structures, covering a wide range of strategies (LBO, venture, mezzanine, secondary, real estate, fund of funds, master-feeder structures), and advising both generalist and sector-focused funds. She is highly regarded by her clients for her innovative approach and her forward-thinking positioning on emerging products, including evergreen vehicles and strategies aimed at broadening access to private equity. Tiana also advises on regulatory aspects relating to investment funds and supports institutional investors, family offices, sponsors and managers in their French and international primary investments, as well as in secondary transactions. The appointment of Tiana and her team marks a notable strategic milestone in the firm’s specialist offering within this space, strengthening its ability to provide integrated and international asset management expertise. Building on its long-standing presence in London, as well as recent growth of their teams in Luxembourg and Dublin, Eversheds Sutherland continues to reinforce its position across key European funds and asset management hubs. Paris plays a central role in this capability, particularly in light of increasing cross-border investment flows towards Luxembourg and beyondTiana’s arrival in Paris mirrors that of Codrina Constantinescu at the end of 2025, a Luxembourg-based partner leading the funds practice. Together, they intend to deliver an integrated offering for European GPs through a Franco-Luxembourg team of at least eight professionals (taking into account ongoing recruitment), with expertise in fund structuring and distribution. The Franco-Luxembourg platform is in response to growing demand from asset managers, sponsors and investors for coordinated support in order to enable greater efficiency. While Luxembourg remains Europe’s leading domicile for investment funds, the combination of Eversheds Sutherland’s French, Luxembourg, English, Irish and US capabilities will allow the firm to support clients across the entire lifecycle of their funds, from fundraising through to European deployment. Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2005, Tiana holds an LLM in International and Comparative Business Law from London Metropolitan University, as well as a postgraduate degree (DEA) in Business and Economic Law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, she was a Partner in the Asset Management group at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in Paris, where she co-headed the investment funds practice. She previously worked at leading international law firms including SJ Berwin/KWM, Ashurst, Clifford Chance and Stephenson Harwood. Deeply committed to promoting diversity, Tiana is involved in several international networks promoting better representation of women in the asset management industry. She also teaches investment fund structuring in the Master 2 Financial Law programme at Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas and regularly contributes to the DJCE network. Brandy Keunan joins Eversheds Sutherland as an Associate. A lawyer specialising in fund structuring, she previously worked alongside Tiana at Willkie Farr & Gallagher. Her experience includes advising fund managers and international institutional investors. Brandy Keunan holds a Master’s degree (Master 2) in Corporate Tax, Financial and Capital Markets Law, a Master’s degree (Master 1) in Business Law and Tax from Université Paris-Saclay, and a Master’s degree in Management from ECSP. Ghita Berrada joins Eversheds Sutherland as a fund structuring Legal Officer. She also previously worked alongside Tiana at Willkie Farr & Gallagher. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Law and Tax from the University of Bordeaux and has been admitted to the CRFPA (Paris Bar entrance examination) at Université Paris Cité. Their arrival also coincides with that of Partner Anne Servoir, a specialist in pharmaceutical and regulatory law who joins the Commercial Advisory team, further illustrating the firm’s growth strategy and the expansion of its multidisciplinary offering in Paris. Alexander Niethammer, European Managing Partner, Eversheds Sutherland, said: “Tiana and Anne both strengthen areas where we’ve been actively investing across Europe. Tiana’s arrival adds real weight to our private capital offering, while Anne brings a depth of pharmaceutical regulatory experience that is hard to replicate. “What matters to us is having the right people in the right places, with the credibility and gravitas to lead in their markets. We have an ambitious vision for our European business, and few firms are genuinely positioned to bring together this combination of sector expertise and cross-border capability. These appointments reflect that direction.” Michaela Arter, European Head of Financial Services Sector, Eversheds Sutherland, said: "Tiana’s arrival is the latest strategic step in the continued build-out of our European funds and private capital platforms. Paris is a pivotal market, both in its own right, and in how capital is structured and deployed across the region. Bringing in a team of this calibre strengthens our offering at the front end of capital deployment. It also signals a clear view on where the market is heading, the growing client appetite for more integrated European capability, and the competitive role we continue to play within this space - both locally and globally.” Catherine Detalle, Senior Office Partner, Paris, Eversheds Sutherland, said: “I am pleased to welcome Tiana and her team. Their arrival forms part of our ongoing development strategy in France and further strengthens our global Financial Services practice with leading expertise in this field.” Tiana Rambatomanga, Partner, Eversheds Sutherland, said: “My team and I are delighted to join Eversheds Sutherland. On a personal level, I am particularly proud to have been entrusted with launching the fund structuring practice in Paris, within a firm that enjoys strong recognition both in France and across the 30 jurisdictions covered by its outstanding international network. Joining Eversheds Sutherland’s global platform is a natural step in my career, allowing us to collaboratively develop an environment conducive to supporting our clients in their projects. In particular, our ambition is to offer a new type of Franco-Luxembourg team capable of advising effectively across the two key jurisdictions for European fund distribution, together with Codrina Constantinescu, a Luxembourg-based partner. This new offering fully responds to market needs and to our clients’ evolving expectations for high-quality services tailored to their budget.” As part of its continued focus on strengthening key markets, Eversheds Sutherland has made a number of recent hires including Partner Alexander Wojtek in Hamburg, and Partners Simon Thomas and Nichola Donovan who have joined the global law firm’s London-based capability.
