Junie focuses her litigation practice in the areas of energy and construction law and data privacy, with deep experience working with energy and technology companies and financial institutions. She advocates for her clients in state and federal courts from trial to appeal, as well as in arbitration.
Junie’s energy and construction experience includes:
- Handling catastrophic offshore Jones Act claims for drilling contractors
- Representing clients in arbitration related to oil shipping issues and breach of contract claims
- Representing client in breach of contract matters related to renewable energy
- Assisting companies in responding to foreign government subpoenas related to EPC projects and power plant project
Junie’s data privacy practice is centered around product development and data privacy compliance. She provides clients with risk-based compliance options under rapidly evolving laws and regulations. She also assists companies in preparing and implementing multi-jurisdictional privacy compliance programs, with a particular emphasis on emerging comprehensive state privacy laws.
Junie is a French citizen, and fluent in French and Haitian Creole. She assists clients with French and Francophone-related matters in Africa and beyond. She is an active member of the Houston community, serving as a Director on the Houston Young Lawyers Association and Co-Chair of both the Law Student Engagement Committee and the French Committee.
