Laura-Beth deals with all areas of planning law and has particular experience in nationally significant infrastructure projects.
Laura-Beth advises developers, landowners and local authorities regarding all aspects of planning law and practice.
Laura-Beth has particular experience in major development projects, including applications for nationally significant infrastructure projects ("NSIPs") authorized through Development Consent Orders. She deals with NSIPs in various sectors from strategic rail freight interchanges to a new harbor and solar parks to electricity interconnectors, all for major developers. The promotion of large infrastructure projects by way of Development Consent Orders is still a relatively recent consenting regime. Laura-Beth's extensive experience in that field means that she is extremely well placed to advise on such schemes. She is one of a select number of lawyers who have experience in the NSIP regime.
Laura-Beth is also routinely instructed by national developers of both residential/mixed-use and commercial schemes to draft and negotiate complex Planning and Infrastructure Agreements.
