He joins from Latham & Watkins LLP. Prior to that, he spent over 15 years at Clifford Chance LLP, progressing from Trainee Solicitor to Senior Associate. Martin’s practice covers a wide range of asset classes including performing, re-performing and non-performing mortgage loans, digital and traditional infrastructure, car rental fleets, and structured corporate lending. He has advised on both public and private securitisations, rated and unrated, across multiple jurisdictions. His track record includes leading the first rated public securitisation of non-performing loans in Spain, structuring synthetic loan portfolio disposals, and designing insolvency-resilient financing structures for pan-European digital infrastructure assets. Martin has acted for a broad range of financial institutions and is recognised for delivering technically complex solutions within the securitisation regulatory framework in a commercial and practical manner.
