Eversheds Sutherland Celebrates Success in the Law Firm of the Year 2025 and IFLR1000 Rankings

The second half of 2025 brought the Prague office of Eversheds Sutherland a series of awards, once again confirming its stable position in the legal services market in the Czech Republic.

Eversheds Sutherland excelled in the renowned domestic ranking Právnická firma roku (“Law Firm of the Year”), which was announced on 26 November 2025 at a gala evening in Prague’s Municipal House by Epravo.cz, a.s. This was the eighteenth edition of this exceptional event, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic and supported by the Czech Bar Association.

This year, the firm reaffirmed its standing in seven areas of law. As a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FIRM, it once again succeeded in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, employment law, corporate law, banking and finance, and capital markets. Among the RECOMMENDED FIRMS, it was again recognized in the areas of competition law and real estate & development projects. 

Eversheds Sutherland was also ranked in the respected IFLR1000 EMEA directory, which annually evaluates leading law firms operating in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in the fields of financial and corporate law.

The firm received recognition in several key areas – banking and finance, project development, restructuring and insolvency, and mergers and acquisitions.

For the first time, the ranking also brought individual recognition as Notable Practitioners for Managing Partner Bořivoj Líbal and Partner Dominika Veselá, both awarded for their work in mergers and acquisitions and project development.
The Notable Practitioner award in the IFLR1000 ranking recognizes lawyers who are regarded as respected experts in their field based on significant transactions, client feedback, and professional reputation, confirming their quality and role in the market.
