Eversheds Sutherland advises the founders of Atreus Group GmbH on its sale to US-based, global leadership advisor, Heidrick & Struggles

Eversheds Sutherland has advised the shareholders of Atreus Group GmbH (Atreus) on the sale of Atreus Group GmbH to Heidrick & Struggles.

Atreus is the largest seller of interim management services in Germany. The company is led by its founders as Co-CEOs.

Heidrick & Struggles is a premier provider of global leadership advisory and on-demand talent solutions.

The sale, which was finalised on 1 February 2023, involved an experienced cross practice team of lawyers from various capabilities across the global law firm including M&A, tax, employment and commercial.

The Eversheds Sutherland team was led by Global Head of Industrials Matthias Heisse and partner Stefan Diemer (tax), and also comprised partners Dirk Monheim (ELPG), Nils Müller (data protection), Daniel v. Brevern (antitrust) and Alexander Honrath (capital markets). Principal associates Michael Reichard (M&A) and Lars v. Scheven (ELPG), counsel Joerg Kaessner (tax), senior associates Niklas Schilawa (tax) and Constantin Herfurth (commercial) and associates Felix Hoerl (ELPG), Isabella Norbu (commercial), Andreas Schenk (real estate) and Maximilian-Philipp Schöps (antitrust) also assisted.

Atreus will continue to be led by its founders as Co-CEOs and operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Heidrick & Struggles.
