Eversheds Sutherland advises Homes England on £250 million joint venture set to deliver thousands of new homesDecember 19, 2024 Eversheds Sutherland has advised Homes England, the government's housing and regeneration agency, on a £250 million master developer joint venture with Oaktree Capital Management and Greycoat Real Estate. The partnership will target large or complex sites with the potential to deliver more than 1,000 homes each and will leverage the investors’ expertise, resources and knowledge and demonstrate the opportunity for new investment into an under-served part of the UK residential market. Kuljeet Gill, Partner, led the Eversheds Sutherland cross practice team and was supported by Dave Newstone, Legal Director and Nathan Lucas, Principal Associate. Further assistance was provided by Partners Elizabeth Marshall, Claire Morgan (both competition) and Colin Askew (tax), Legal Director Nicolette Sanders (governments and infrastructure) and Associate Iulian Bajko (competition). The global law firm has been a part of Homes England’s legal services panel since its formation in 2018.
