UK Covid-19 Inquiry - Latest update: Module 1

On 14 February 2023, the Covid-19 Inquiry held its second preliminary hearing for Module 1 of the Inquiry, which will examine the UK’s resilience and preparedness for the Covid-19 pandemic. Our update about the first preliminary hearing for this module, held in October 2022 can be accessed here.
The hearing addressed a number of issues, including disclosure, the hearing timetable, Parliamentary privilege and the Rule 10 procedure.
