Universities across the sector have been facing Covid-19 related student claims arising from disruption to teaching, assessment and the wider student experience during the pandemic. Many of those claims have been paused pending the outcome of the test case Hamon & Ors v University College London. The trial of which is currently scheduled to commence on 23 February 2026 for a period of four weeks.
In this webinar we will focus on what the outcome means for universities across the sector, how the case is likely to shape the resolution of other Covid-19 related claims and what institutions should be doing next.
