Aleena Ali Mughal

Aleena Ali Mughal is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, currently practicing in the Insurance Litigation Department at Eversheds Sutherland. With a strong academic foundation—holding two Cum Laude degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand in Law, Psychology, and Anthropology. Aleena brings a multidisciplinary perspective to her legal practice. Her expertise spans insurance law, particularly public and personal liability, as well as corporate, commercial, and regulatory law. She has also engaged with privacy, environmental, intellectual property, and immigration law, demonstrating a broad legal acumen.

Aleena began her legal career at Clyde & Co, where she completed her articles of clerkship and contributed to advisory matters involving the FSR Act, FAIS Act, AML, and FIC regulations. She is known for her analytical thinking, empathetic advocacy, and commitment to client-focused, results-driven legal solutions.
