Supporting Team Rynkeby charity cycling again this yearMarch 02, 2023 This year, we are again sponsoring the Team Rynkeby charity cycling team which cycles to Paris from 7 to 15 July 2023. The funds raised will be donated to Aamu Suomen Lasten Syöpäsäätiö and Sylva ry which do important work to promote children’s cancer research and to support children and youths with cancer and their families. A large part of the funds raised comes in the form of donations from companies that sign up as project sponsors. “One of our values is cooperation. Team Rynkeby’s charity cycling is cooperation par excellence, which made it easy for us to decide to continue our sponsorship”, Managing Partner Jari Salminen says. Associate Else Leppänen, who cycled in Team Rynkeby for the first time last year, is taking part also this year. “I’m taking part in Team Rynkeby’s journey for the second time and will be cycling in the Helsinki team. From the first journey I took home road cycling as a hobby - for which I fell head over heels - lots of wonderful new friends and the brilliant experience of the culmination of the journey in Paris in July. The decision to join a second time was easy”, Else says. “Team Rynkeby combines three things that are important to me: doing good to others, training, and the sense of community. I find it important to support critically ill children and youths as well as their families and want to take care of myself so that I will also be able to help others”, Else continues. This year, more than 2 000 cyclists will join Team Rynkeby. The teams come from nine different countries. Key contacts
