Eversheds Sutherland advises The University of Manchester on innovation district - ID ManchesterEversheds Sutherland is advising The University of Manchester on an internationally-significant development project - a £1.5 billion new global-leading innovation district - ID Manchester. Following a competitive dialogue procurement process, the University has now announced Bruntwood SciTech as its preferred bidder to deliver the landmark project. The global law firm was instructed by the University from the outset of the project in September 2017 and has advised on all aspects including in relation to delivery options, procurement, real estate, corporate and commercial structuring, vires and governance and charities law. The Eversheds Sutherland team is led by Partner Kuljeet Gill, assisted by a multi-disciplinary team including Partner Liz Marshall (procurement), Partner Ian Barker (real estate), Legal Director Tracy Gibson (real estate) and Associates Charlotte Tanikal (real estate), Sasha Fasolilli (commercial) and Lara Davies (commercial).
