Eversheds Sutherland has advised Savola Group on its strategic partnership with Tiryaki Agro covering Türkiye and regional markets

As part of this complex transaction, Tiryaki Anadolu, a subsidiary of Tiryaki Agro, has acquired 100% of Savola Foods Türkiye, while Savola’s subsidiary, Afia International Company, has acquired a strategic minority stake in the consolidated structure of Tiryaki Anadolu. The transaction represents an important step in aligning Savola’s long term growth strategy with an integrated platform that supports both its market presence in Türkiye and its broader regional ambitions. Through its partnership with Savola, Tiryaki has added Türkiye’s renowned edible oil brands – primarily Yudum – to its portfolio, strengthening its market position in this category.

The transaction was led by Partner Zeid Hanania, supported by a cross border, multidisciplinary team including Partner Steve Jennings, Principal Associate Rima Mahmoud and Associates Hanan Al Bashir and Faisal Al Shaikh.
