Eversheds Sutherland advised on a €500m multicurrency debt facilitiesDecember 18, 2023 Eversheds Sutherland advises senior lenders to Sonnedix in relation to €500m multicurrency debt facilities with €500mn incremental for the delivery of solar PV projects across Europe.We're delighted to be part of the team that advised BBVA, CIBC, NatWest, Rabobank, Banco Sabadell, and Santander - commercial lenders to Sonnedix, a leading renewable energy producer – in relation to an innovative €500m loan facility to finance the construction of Sonnedix’s renewable development pipeline of solar PV projects across Europe, including Portugal, Spain, Italy and the UK. The €500m multicurrency facility includes a €450m capital expenditure facility and a €50 million letter of credit facility. The transaction features a number of first-of-a-kind innovations.
