She has extensive experience in drafting privacy policies, data processing agreements, and privacy impact and security assessments. While Natalie is regularly instructed on a myriad of cross-jurisdictional matters, she has a particularly strong focus on the Hong Kong and PRC data privacy regimes. Natalie is also skilled in advising on response strategies for major global data and cybersecurity incidents, and regularly provides guidance on dealing with privacy regulators in different Asian countries.
Natalie frequently assists clients in navigating the complex regulatory and operational hurdles in launching global commercial and FinTech products. She has advised FinTech companies and payment platforms on regulatory compliance issues, and has guided them in an array of regulatory inquiries, remediation plans and operational restructuring plans. She has also advised various regulated clients on the launch of innovative services and products, such as those relating to virtual assets and generative AI. In addition, Natalie advises numerous clients in the financial services sector on all aspects of technology-related procurement and outsourcing transactions.
