Top Legal Practice for Employment and Labour Law: Eversheds Sutherland in the top rankings of German magazines WirtschaftsWoche and Brand EinsMay 18, 2020 German business magazine Die WirtschaftsWoche has recognised Eversheds Sutherland as a top legal practice for employment and labour law. In addition, Partner Marco Ferme ranks among the top renowned lawyers for employment and labour law. The ranking is established every year by the business magazine in cooperation with Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI). Simultaneously, Eversheds Sutherland has also been ranked among the top law firms in employment and labour law in a special edition "brand eins/Thema" of the business magazine Brand Eins. This is the result of a survey which was carried out by Brand Eins in cooperation with the market research company Statista for the first time. The German legal practice of Eversheds Sutherland has more than 40 lawyers in the field of labour and employment law, ten of which are partners. The employment and labour law practice group offers a wide range of services and is specialised in complex reorganisations and restructurings, in particular in international collective bargaining law, the right to strike and labour dispute law, corporate pension plans, international labour and employment law, HR management as well as flexible remuneration/working time models, advising executives as well as compliance, transaction support and litigation. For the WirtschaftsWoche ranking, Handelsblatt Research Institute interviewed several thousand lawyers of more than 200 law firms. The final selection was made by an expert jury of representatives of the federal association of in-house employment and labour law lawyers, ABB, C.H. Beck, RWE and Telefónica. This year, the list of recommendations comprises a total of 52 law firms with 85 particularly recommended lawyers for employment and labour law. For the special issue of Brand Eins, Statista interviewed a total of 13,223 lawyers in law firms and businesses. In employment and labour law, 59 particularly recommended law firms are highlighted.
