David works closely with start-ups and investors into start-ups on all manner of equity and quasi-equity capital raises from pre-Seed to late stage, as well as secondaries/exit transactions in Germany, EMEA and North America. He also provides strategic advice to founders/start-ups in relation to governance, commercial and other business-critical topics.
In his M&A practice, David advises European and global corporates and financial investors on a global basis on the buy- and sell-side as well as carve-outs.
Additionally, David works closely with clients to identify/secure support in other practice areas (i.e. Financial Services Regulation, Intellectual Property, Real Estate and Planning, etc.).
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, David worked in two US law firms in Frankfurt focusing on cross-border Venture Capital and M&A transactions after moving to Germany from his native US in 2015.
