Eversheds Sutherland further expands its presence in the DACH region opening a fourth Swiss office in Zug. The law firm now has 69 offices in 34 countries around the world. The Zug region is known as the crypto valley of Switzerland where some of the most innovative financial services companies of the country have their headquarter. The office will be led by partner and notary Dr. Michael Mosimann. He specialises in particular in the areas of crypto assets and regulation as well as private equity, venture capital and corporate/M&A. "The use of new technologies in the financial services sector and the associated legal questions become more and more important for our clients" says Dr. Carola Rathke, head of the German financial services practice. "Expanding our offering by opening a presence in Zug is an important step on our way to become one of the leading legal practices for blockchain and crypto assets on the world stage."
