Strategic hire strengthens Konexo’s Financial Services Advisory offeringJuly 02, 2025 Konexo, developed by Eversheds Sutherland, is pleased to announce the appointment of Emma Mitchell as a Managing Director in its financial services team. Emma joins the firm’s London office from resourcing and advisory firm Huntswood, where she was Director of Advisory Services. Emma brings a wealth of experience in financial services, particularly in relation to regulatory project work, business conduct, governance and controls, complaints, and remediation, further enhancing Konexo’s current offering. Beginning her career at the Financial Ombudsman Service and later spending a decade at KPMG advising on regulatory compliance and conduct, Emma has established a notable reputation for her in-depth knowledge and experience in various sectors including retail banking, consumer credit, wealth management and insurance. Emma has a proven track record for leading teams on mid and large-scale projects, as well as those under a Section 166 Skilled Persons Review. She’s also adept at developing innovative, highly-effective solutions to meet incoming regulatory challenges, as well as designing and delivering complex remediations. David Saunders, Head of Konexo, commented: "We’re delighted to welcome Emma. Emma has a proven track record of delivering high-impact regulatory projects and helping her clients achieve better outcomes for their customers. Her extensive experience in regulatory project work and financial services transformation both complement and reinforce our existing capabilities.” Emma Mitchell, Managing Director – Regulatory Conduct at Konexo, commented: "I am excited to join Konexo and contribute to its experienced team. The opportunity to be part of a firm that is both committed to providing independent consulting services, and blends legal and consulting expertise seamlessly to give clients collective advice is inspiring. I look forward to leveraging my experience to help our clients navigate the ever-evolving regulatory landscape and drive meaningful change within their organisations." Emma's arrival follows a number of recent strategic appointments for Konexo including Erin Gavin – Head of FS Projects and Remediation, and Sophie Espinasse who leads its client learning proposition for firms in the regulated space. More broadly, Eversheds Sutherland has recently launched its Konexo consulting group in the Middle East, with the recent appointment of Richard Chudzynski – who leads the Data Privacy, Data Management, and AI Consulting practice out of Dubai. Taimur Ghaznavi has also recently been appointed as Head of Konexo US to lead on the delivery of Konexo’s strategy and services in the US. Just last month (June), Konexo was awarded the Future of Legal Services Innovation – Alternative Legal Services Provider at the European Legal Innovation Awards. Key contacts
