Josh is a Principal Associate in the construction and engineering team based in the Leeds office.
He specialises in contentious construction work as well as advising on a broad range of transactional projects. He also has significant project advisory experience, helping clients pre-emptively avoid disputes.
He has experience in all types of construction disputes (including litigation, adjudication and international arbitration) with a focus on high value and technically complex cases.
Josh works with both bespoke and standard form construction contracts (including all the major forms such as JCT, NEC and ICC).
His recent experience includes a series of heavy-weight and long-running adjudications (in which his clients were highly successful); several major international arbitrations (working alongside our Middle East teams); high profile claims concerning defective cladding; and a £15m final account dispute (which has involved a Court of Appeal hearing).
