Eversheds Sutherland has advised the senior management team of D-Marin, a leading premium marina operator in the Mediterranean region, on the investment into the group by InfraVia Capital Partners.
The transaction will see InfraVia acquire D-Marin from CVC and invest alongside management, supporting the business as it enters a new chapter under new ownership and continues to build on its position as one of the Mediterranean's leading marina platforms.
Founded in 2003, D-Marin has established itself as one of the leading premium marina operators in the Mediterranean, with a network spanning nine countries. The business operates 28 marinas and serves more than 50,000 customers annually through over 14,300 berths, including more than 1,000 dedicated superyacht berths.
The Eversheds Sutherland team was led by Partner Mike Birkett with support from Principal Associate James Finney, Senior Associate Rebecca Roberts and Associate Sali Akhtar.
Mike Birkett, Partner, Eversheds Sutherland, commented:
"We were delighted to support the D-Marin management team on this significant transaction. Over the past two decades, D-Marin has built a market-leading platform and reputation across the Mediterranean. This investment represents an exciting opportunity for the business as it enters its next phases of growth, and it was a pleasure supporting Oliver and his team to help deliver a successful outcome.”
