In this latest edition, we spotlight key regulatory developments across global markets, including:
  • EU: Member States are progressing the transposition of AIFMD II, introducing enhanced liquidity management tools, expanded disclosure requirements and new regimes for loan-originating funds, alongside broader EU reforms including simplified sustainability reporting under the Omnibus I Directive.
  • Ireland: The Central Bank has outlined 2026 priorities focusing on resilience, AI, sustainability and investor protection, alongside developments in tokenisation and governance.
  • Luxembourg: New CSSF fee regimes for crypto, DLT and credit servicing sit alongside EU-wide sustainability reforms aimed at simplifying reporting and reducing compliance burdens.
